Affiliate Programme Terms & Conditions

1.1. The Better Bet Affiliate Programme allows approved participants to earn commission by referring new paying customers to betterbetgroup.com.

1.2. The Programme is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over.

1.3. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.

2.1. To participate in the Programme, you must submit a completed application through our website. All information provided must be accurate, complete, and not misleading.

2.2. We will review your application and notify you by email of the outcome. Approval is not guaranteed.

2.3. We may request additional information from you before making a decision on your application.

2.4. You must not represent yourself as an affiliate of Better Bet until your application has been formally approved.

3.1. Upon approval, you will receive a unique affiliate referral link and/or referral code. You must use only the tracking links and codes provided by us.

3.2. Referrals are tracked using a 30-day cookie window. A referral is attributed to you if the referred user signs up within 30 days of clicking your affiliate link or using your referral code.

3.3. You are responsible for the correct implementation and use of your affiliate links. We are not liable for lost commissions due to incorrect link placement or technical issues on your end.

4.1. You must not bid on, purchase, or otherwise use any of the following in any paid search campaigns (including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, or any other pay-per-click or paid advertising platform): "Better Bet", "BetterBet", "betterbetgroup", "betterbetgroup.com", or any misspellings, variations, or derivatives thereof.

4.2. This restriction applies to all match types including broad match, phrase match, exact match, and modified broad match.

4.3. Violation of this clause will result in immediate termination from the Programme and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions.

5.1. You must not register, use, or otherwise acquire any domain name that contains "Better Bet", "BetterBet", "betterbet", "betterbetgroup", or any confusingly similar variations, for any purpose whatsoever.

5.2. Any such domain names registered before joining the Programme must be disclosed in your application. We reserve the right to require transfer or cessation of use of any such domains.

6.1. Approved affiliates will earn a commission rate of 50% (fifty per cent) on all recurring subscription payments made by referred customers, for the lifetime of that customer's subscription.

6.2. Commission is calculated on the net payment amount received by Better Bet, after deducting payment processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, and any applicable taxes.

6.3. Commission does not accrue on free trials, promotional credits, or any non-paid usage of the service.

6.4. We reserve the right to modify the commission rate at any time upon 30 days' written notice. Changes apply to commissions earned after the effective date and do not affect commissions already accrued.

6.5. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. You must not use your own affiliate link or referral code to subscribe to Better Bet or direct any account you own or control through your affiliate link. Any commissions earned through self-referral will be voided.

7.1. Commission payments are processed on the last day of each calendar month via PayPal. You must have a valid PayPal email address on file in your affiliate settings to receive payments.

7.2. There is a minimum payout threshold of £50 (fifty pounds sterling). Commissions below this threshold will carry forward to the next payment period.

7.3. Only commissions arising from subscription payments older than 31 (thirty-one) days are eligible for payout. This holding period allows time for refunds and chargebacks to be processed.

7.4. Unpaid commissions that remain below the minimum payout threshold for a continuous period of 6 (six) months will be voided and are no longer payable.

7.5. You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from commissions received under this Programme.

7.6. It is your responsibility to ensure your PayPal email address is correct and up to date. We are not liable for payments sent to an incorrect email address provided by you.

8.1. You must not engage in spamming, unsolicited bulk messaging, or any form of unsolicited communication to promote Better Bet or your affiliate link.

8.2. You must not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about Better Bet, its services, or the potential earnings from using the service.

8.3. You must not engage in cookie stuffing, click fraud, or any other deceptive practices to artificially inflate referral numbers or commissions.

8.4. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to data protection legislation (UK GDPR), advertising standards, and consumer protection laws.

8.5. You must not target individuals under the age of 18 with any promotional content related to Better Bet.

9.1. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Better Bet branding materials solely for the purpose of promoting Better Bet as part of the Programme.

9.2. You must use branding materials in accordance with any guidelines we provide. You must not alter, modify, or misrepresent any Better Bet trademarks, logos, or branding.

9.3. This licence terminates automatically upon termination of your participation in the Programme.

10.1. This Agreement commences upon approval of your affiliate application and continues until terminated by either party.

10.2. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing written notice (including by email) to the other party.

10.3. We may terminate this Agreement immediately and without notice if you breach any provision of this Agreement.

10.4. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under this Agreement cease immediately. You must remove all affiliate links, branding materials, and references to the Programme from your properties.

10.5. Commissions earned prior to termination and that have passed the 30-day holding period will be paid out subject to the minimum payout threshold, provided termination was not due to a breach of these terms.

11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Bet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your participation in the Programme.

11.2. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11.3. Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.

12.1. We make no guarantees regarding the level of commissions you may earn through the Programme. Earnings depend on your promotional efforts and the purchasing decisions of referred customers.

12.2. We do not guarantee the availability, uptime, or performance of the affiliate tracking system. Temporary outages or technical issues may occur.

12.3. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Programme at any time with 30 days' notice.

13.1. You are solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your website, social media accounts, and any other properties through which you promote Better Bet.

13.2. Your website and properties must not contain content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

13.3. Your website must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with Better Bet in compliance with applicable advertising disclosure requirements.

14.1. You are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or representative of Better Bet. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.

14.2. You must not make any binding commitments or representations on behalf of Better Bet.

14.3. You must promptly notify us of any changes to your contact information, website, or promotional methods.

14.4. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Better Bet, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of this Agreement or your promotional activities.

15.1. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the affiliate dashboard.

15.2. Continued participation in the Programme after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

15.3. If you do not agree with any modifications, you may terminate your participation in the Programme.

16.1. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16.2. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced with a valid, enforceable provision that most closely achieves the original intent.

17.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

17.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

17.3. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the Programme and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
